Deep Rest and Relaxation

Deep rest and relaxation can be achieved through a type of yoga referred to as yoga nidra. Yoga nidra (AKA yogic sleep) is said to allow the body to enter a more restorative and healing state as the mind changes from activity to meditation, with some yogis even falling asleep during the practice.
